Sanctuary for Polly Walker

TV.com is reporting that Polly Walker's first appearance on SyFy's "Sanctuary" will come next week -- "Polly Walker will make her first appearance on Sanctuary next Friday in episode 3x10, "The Hollow Men."

Disney sets March 9, 2012 release date for "John Carter of Mars"

As we previously reported, Polly Walker will star in this movie based on a novel by Edgar Rice Burroughs. Disney has now set March 9, 2012 as the release date. 

Meanwhile, some non Comic-Con news...Polly Walker to guest star in Sanctuary

According to multiple sources, Actress Polly Walker will be making a guest appearance on the upcoming season of “Sanctuary.” ... Walker will appear in two episodes during the next season of the SyFy network series.

Polly Walker on Mars

Well, being a space veteran, it's no real surprise that Polly Walker will find herself on another planet in "John Carter of Mars", a movie that has apparently been green-lit and will come out in 2012. According to the official site, the plot is as follows:

"The movie John Carter of Mars chronicles the journey of American Civil War veteran John Carter (Taylor Kitsch), who finds himself battling a new and mysterious war amidst a host of strange Martian inhabitants, including Tars Tarkas (Willem Dafoe) and Dejah Thoris (Lynn Collins)."

It looks like Polly will be cast as "Sarkoja, a merciless, tyrannical Thark".

What's going on?

Well, honestly, not a lot.

Polly Walker continues to get reviwed in "Clash of the Titans" but you're all loyal fans and saw it on opening weekend like we did. We were....disappointed, but not by Polly. We hope that this marks a decline in Hollywood's 3D obsession, but probably not.

Paula Malcomson continues to get press for her upcoming role in "Sons of Anarchy" ... so if you want to be ready, be sure to grab a copy of the DVD seasons.

Apparently, Alessandra Torresani has been at the music festival Coachella as we can see from some of her and her friends Tweet photos: Like this, and this, playing tennis, and even partying with a robot

Reviews not great for "Clash of the Titans" but we're in for Polly!

Let's be honest for a moment here. Reviews are starting to come in for the upcoming "Clash of the Titans" and they're anything but stellar. None the less, we're still up for seeing more of Polly Walker. As a reminder, she plays Cassiopeia in the movie that debuts tomorrow:

First look at James Marsters in 'Caprica'

The Chicago Tribune previews this Friday's episode "Know Thy Enemy" - The episode will guest star James Marsters (of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Angel" fame). The preview indicates that Sister Willow will be featured.

Paley Center NYC to host Caprica event in March

Newsarama is reporting that several Caprica stars will appear at the Paley Center NYC on March 17, 2010 - "Come to The Paley Center for Media in NYC Wednesday, March 17th at 6:30pm to meet the cast and preview a new episode of CAPRICA, Syfy’s new Battlestar Galactica prequel..."
